the truth of seclusion (a found poem with the words of Sean O'Neill)

It will always be unfair--

the world

You can't fix

“broken"

so don't think everyone can be saved,

lifted up.

Please,

take care of yourself

and teach others to take care

for themselves.

Please,

don't damage your personal substance

--that is the only individualization of universal reason

that will unite you with our macrocosm--

to save everyone else.

Please,

do to others as you would have them do to you,

but live with caution,

because the eyes are useless

when the

mind

is

blind.

Today’s engenderment craves individual needs before anything else,

hiding all emotions,

but forgetting that eyes speak,

deeply belonging to themselves,

but lusting after the world.

Today,

they become apart of

everything,

but nothing at all,

wanting nothing,

but are given everything.
