To be acknowledged in this world,

it seduces the innocent minds of the anxious,

eventually infecting the population with a contagious parasite that produces minds of serial panic and wonder.

Questioning the outcome of time is normal,

questioning the cycle of weeks and days is unnerving,

and questioning reality is something of great concern,

but this is what is does;

deemed normal by doctors and anyone who can relate,

that’s how you know it won,

and the world is forever changed by the setback of intellectual progress.

One can recreate anything to match his fear inside the soul,

ships,

buildings,

streets,

houses,

friends,

gardens,

family,

pets,

siblings….

sleep….

Yourself.

The quiet scattering of paws quicken on the forest floor with time,

it may take hours,

minutes or even seconds,

but the result is always the same,

its heart stops from fear.
